I'll See You Around...

You all know that one moment that you hear a band and you know that one day they are going to be a big deal.  I know I am not the only one.  I have been to my fair share of concerts this year and after the first time seeing this band I instantly had to see them again.  I was in luck, they were coming back to my home state.

Jacob Davis & The _______

I have blogged about this guy and his band 2 posts back but when you are this good you get more than one entry.

Jacob, Teddy, Caleb, Babs and Kevin opened for Old Dominion at one of my personal venues, The Brewhouse in Rome, GA.  If you have never been to The Brewhouse or Rome for that matter I highly recommend you making a trip. If it wasn't for the fact that it is 3 hours away that place may be my second home.

The night started off with the front row being entirely taken up my The Jacob Davis Squad.  I honestly can not think of a better way to show Jacob how much we love them but to be all in matching shirts.  It's a little difficult for a bunch of adults to dress in the same shirt at a concert but the love we all share for these guys trumped the hesitation.

I mean how cute are we? Even Flat Erica made it!

(Non squad shirt is Caleb's wife Tori)

The guys started with my favorite song 'Whiskeysippi'  followed by the songs on Jacob's EP 'See You Around', 'James Brown', 'With My Eyes Closed' and more.

Not only did he slay his originals he also nailed covers of Sam Hunt's 'We Are Tonight' and Taylor Swift 'Red' and in case you didn't know these guys LOVE Taylor Swift.

I also see a pattern that Jacob's favorite color is Red. :)

The response from everyone around was very heartwarming.  People were requesting CD's to hear more! They just couldn't get enough.  Below is a video of some of the show, thank you Jennifer Ritchie for making this:

I have posted some videos on my YouTube from the show at The Foundry and I have one more to post from this show.

I personally think the coolest part of the night was right near the end of Old Dominions set Matthew wanted 'To Thank Jacob Davis for letting us borrow your squad tonight'.

They still talk about us!

After you read this and want a CD please let me know and I will get them sent out to you!

These are some of the kindest gentlemen that I have met, please do yourself a huge favor and check them out:

All about that squad life

These guys are some of the best guys to have the opportunity to help and support.  They are ever so grateful and as much as you appreciate us being there for you, we appreciate you being there for us and giving us your gift of musically talent.
